We are now taking orders that will ship out on Tuesday, April 29th. Please read the shipping information below before placing an order.

 

Important Shipping Information regarding our fresh artichokes:

  • Orders ship from our farm every Tuesday and Wednesday (depending on availability and location).
  • Orders placed after 8am Pacific time on Monday will ship on Tuesday of the next week unless pre-orders and being taken for a specific date.
  • Shipping rates will be displayed after you have entered your address.
  • As our artichokes are perishable, all food sales are final. Every artichoke is hand-picked in the morning and shipped out that same day in the afternoon to ensure freshness. Artichokes spoiled due to severe weather conditions are out of our control and it is up to the individual placing the order to check on weather conditions during the days the artichokes will be in transit and to select the appropriate UPS delivery option.

    The Artichokes always seem perfectly picked! I put them on the stove in a steamer, so they're also easily prepared. The only downside I see is the cost of Shipping, which exceeds the price of the Artichokes themselves, and I live in CA. :-)

    We've been eating Pezzini artichokes for many years, and they always are fresher and meatier than anything available in local stores. Try steaming them inverted (leaves pointing down) on stands over water mixed with lemon juice and chopped garlic. Delicious, and they drain as they cook!

    Pezzini sent heirloom artichokes to my son in Texas and my brother in Kansas. The artichokes were big, beautiful, and tender. My brother said each one was a perfect artichoke. They arrived exactly as planned. I have dealt with Pezzini over the years and they are consistently excellent. This is the first time I used the web site and it was easy to do. I just wish there was a place for a note to the recipient when the artichokes are a gift to someone else.
