We are now taking orders that will ship out on Tuesday, April 21st. Please read the shipping information below before placing an order.
Important Shipping Information regarding our fresh artichokes:
- Orders ship from our warehouse every Tuesday and Wednesday (depending on availability and location).
- Orders placed after 8 am Pacific time on Monday will ship on Tuesday of the next week unless pre orders are being taken for a specific date.
- Shipping rates will be displayed after you have entered your address information.
- As our artichokes are perishable, all food sales are final. Every artichoke is hand-picked in the morning and shipped out that same day to ensure freshness. Artichokes spoiled due to severe weather conditions are out of our control and it is up to the individual placing the order to check on weather conditions during the days the artichokes will be in transit and to select the appropriate UPS delivery option.

I sent these artichokes to my 81 year old Italian Aunt who just loved the way I stuffed the large ones I shipped to brother at Easter Time. She loved them so much and it brought her back to the years her Mom (my Nana) made so I decided to send her some. She stuffed them and said they were incredibly delicious! Thanks for bring joy and memories through your amazing artichokes:)

Great Artichokes!

The large artichokes I ordered are exactly what I wanted. The "Heirloom" variety is what I've enjoyed since I was a kid. The ones sold in stores here in Oregon, and that includes Costco, are some other variety. They have minimal meat and are shaped mostly round, the taste is different too.
While the product is excellent, I do have concerns about shipping. The prices from UPS are exorbitant. I emailed Pezzini Farms about the charges being for 'residential' when I listed a bonafide business address. Apparently they have been using the 'honor' system and it has been abused. My experience with other shippers tied in with UPS, when given an address the software knows immediately whether it is legitimate or not. Paying $16 for five artichokes and $16 for shipping from California to Oregon makes them a little over $6 a piece. Ouch!
As said above though, the artichokes were everything I expected.
